We are so rushed and tired during the school week.
I enjoy getting up before my boys,
Cranking up a fresh pot of coffee,
And frying up some sausage or bacon,
Letting the aroma fill the house.

Meanwhile, I’m stirring up my pancake recipe, gluten free, from “Cooking for Isaiah,”
Silvana Nardone’s wonderful book for celiacs.

I added 1/4 c. Of cooked sweet potatoes left from last night, crumbled and added the cooked breakfast meat and beat that in with one egg, 1-1/2 c. Goat milk, and cinnamon and ginger to taste.

Yum!
